CONNECTIONS CENTER

Sell to more dealers through Tireweb.

When a dealer on TireSearch or a Tireweb retail site quotes a customer, they are looking at live supplier inventory. If you are not in the Connections Center, you are not one of the options on that screen.

  • 165 tire businesses already connected
  • One integration instead of thirty
  • You control which dealers can connect to you

Where your inventory shows up.

Being in the Connections Center puts your stock and your pricing in front of dealers at the moment they are selling.

TireSearch. The widget dealers drop into their own website to sell tires online. When a customer searches a size or a vehicle, the results are drawn from connected supplier inventory.

Tireweb Retail. Full dealer websites with fitment search, running on the same live supplier data.

Tireweb Wholesale and Mobile. Distributors and their dealer networks, on desktop and on the phone in a service bay.

The dealer is already looking. The question is whether your inventory is on the screen.

One integration, not thirty.

Your dealers do not all run the same software. They are on Mitchell1, Tekmetric, TireMaster, Protractor, CDK, Tekion and a couple of dozen others. If you want your inventory available inside all of those, the traditional answer is to build an integration with each one, and then maintain every one of them as those systems change.

The Connections Center is the alternative. You connect once, to us. We manage the connections out to the software companies, and we keep them working.

Twenty-nine software systems are already on the platform. When one of them changes their API, that is our problem rather than yours. When a new system joins, you are reachable through it without doing anything.

Building one integration is a project. Maintaining thirty is a permanent function.

You decide who connects.

Connecting does not mean opening your inventory and pricing to everyone on the platform. You control which dealers are able to connect to you through the Connections Center. Nothing is exposed by default. A dealer sees your inventory because you have agreed they can.

What a connected dealer then sees, which products, which pricing, which warehouses, is governed by your own system and what you make available to that dealer. The Connections Center passes through what you publish. It does not decide it for you.

And we handle the security. Data moves between you, the Connections Center and the connected system over encrypted, authenticated connections. We manage the credentials, the access permissions and the monitoring for every connection in the network, so you are not standing up and securing a series of separate integrations of your own.

What we need from you.

Less than you might expect.

We build to whatever you already have. We have pre-built connectors for a long list of POS, ERP, DMS and inventory systems, so for a lot of distributors the integration is largely already done.

An API is our preference, because it keeps availability and pricing current in real time.

Flat files work too. Scheduled inventory and pricing files over FTP or SFTP are a normal way into the network.

If your setup is unusual, that is a conversation, not a barrier. Tell us what you run and we will work out the right path.

Who this is for.

Any tire distributor. Regional or national, one warehouse or twenty, whether you already work with Tireweb or have never spoken to us.

If you sell tires to dealers and you would like more of those dealers finding your stock at the moment they are quoting a customer, this is the conversation.

Talk to us about connecting.

Tell us a little about your business and how you handle inventory today, and we will work out what connecting would look like for you.

Thanks.

We have got it and will be in touch.

Questions.

Does connecting mean any dealer can see my pricing?

No. You control which dealers can connect to you, and nothing is shared by default. What a connected dealer sees is governed by your own system and what you make available to them.

Do I need to build a separate integration for every POS system my dealers run?

No. You connect once to the Connections Center and we manage the connections out to the software systems on the platform, including keeping them working as those systems change.

Do I have to be a Tireweb customer already?

No. The Connections Center is open to any tire distributor.

What if my system is not one you already support?

We have pre-built connectors for a lot of the systems distributors run, and where we do not, we build to what you have. Tell us what you use.

Do I need to build an API?

No. An API is our preference where you already have one, but scheduled flat files over FTP or SFTP are a perfectly normal way into the network.

Who else is connected?

165 tire businesses and 29 software systems. The full list is in the connections directory.
